Gothenburg Guides

Having a tour of the city is one of the best ways to discover its top sites. Download The Gothenburg Guides - a free app that includes a map and an audio guide, and will enable you to do several tours by yourself. A tour of the city highlights, a walk along the river banks, or an excursion of the city's most haunted places, they are all available free of charge!

Ferry ride

Seeing Gothenburg from the water is one of the great attractions of the city. Choose a tour with a local public transport ferry instead of the pricier ''Paddan'' boat tour. Explore the harbour and some of the modern neighbourhoods along the northern banks of the river. Sit on the rooftop of the ferry and enjoy a great view, all for the price of a normal public transport ticket (28 SEK).
